NOTE TO OUR LOYAL ARTISTS

NOTE TO OUR LOYAL ARTISTS It is with sadness we have decided to close the Take-a-Word challenge. Since Marie's passing nine months ago, we have continued to administer the three challenges (Take-a-Word, Three Muses, and Digitalmania), but we have a need to lessen the load a bit. We ask that our loyal followers here at Take-a-Word continue to share your talents at Three Muses or Digitalmania (which is a Flickr site). We are immensely grateful for your participation for the past ten years or so, and hope to see you there. The bee challenge will be the final challenge for Take-a-Word. Ann and Bev

Notice regarding the dreaded ROBOT

Many thanks to Sheila (also known as Orange Esmeralda) for suggesting help controlling the dreaded Robot in the comments section of the Blog.

When having to deal with the "prove you're not a robot" on someone else's blog, Sheila has had success with  ignoring the command and just typing in the comment and publishing it. I have found that this works only randomly for me but it is worth trying.

Sheila's brilliant suggestion that, in order to get rid of the robot on our own blogs, we change our settings in Posts and Comments  works like a dream.  This is how to do it:

Open DESIGN on your blog page
Scroll down to SETTINGS - lower left hand side of page
Click on POSTS AND COMMENTS
Go to Comments location and click on the adjoining box
Choose EMBEDDED
IMPORTANT!!!  Make sure, after choosing EMBEDDED, you go to the top right hand corner of the page and click on SAVE CHANGES.
