Sad News

We're sorry to report that Ann's mother is gravely ill and the family has been told the end is near.  As we come together with our families for our holiday,  I'm sure we will all send prayers and thoughts to Ann's family in their sad time.   We know you will understand her absence for a time.   Thank you all for your kind support.

Ann is also known as Taluula and is, of course, one of the Three Muses and also a great supporter of Take a Word.

This week's word is MOON.  My sample picture was inspired by the great old Ella Fitzgerald song "Paper Moon" - a song about a world where nothing is real.

Welcome to the first "Take a Word" Challenge.  The theme this week is TIME.  Take this word to wherever you and your imagination want to go!!

A New Challenge - "Take a Word"

Our new challenge, "Take a Word", will open for business on Monday, November 1, when a sample picture and one-word prompt will be posted.  Shhhhhhh!  The first word is TIME so you have a whole week to create your gorgeous artpieces.

Monday morning in Australia is Sunday night in other countries so expect early openings!!

Wait for the first sample picture and prompt, and post your artwork in the comments section next week.
