We've been having a Blogger glitch of some sort.  Gayle e-mailed her entries to me (Bev), I downloaded them to my computer, then uploaded them here with no problem.    Thanks everyone for your patience!

Take a Word Challenge #22 - Blooms

I am having problems with posting this week's challenge.  The blog will publish the "blurb" but is refusing to publish the pictures.  Please leave your posts anyway and we can only hope that this matter will correct itself later in the day.

I HAVE CHECKED THE BLOG HELPLINE AND IT SEEMS THIS IS A FAIRLY WIDESPREAD PROBLEM THAT WAS IDENTIFIED YESTERDAY - AND THE BOFFINS ARE WORKING ON IT.  INTERNET EXPLORER 6 AND 7 ARE BEING BLAMED BUT MY VERSION IS 8.

Take a Word #20 - GREEN

This week's challenge theme is GREEN to mark St Patrick's Day on March 17.  Our guest host is Deann (Grannie Annie) with this gorgeous, whimsical and totally appropriate celebration of the big day. (Irish blessings often lack logic and they almost always have a sting in the tail and I love them.  Deann's is perfect!)
So have fun with green.  Do your own thing.  As long as there is green in your artpiece it qualifies.

My lovely blogland friends may I say how touched and humbled I have been over the past couple of weeks by the many prayers, kind words and good wishes you have sent my way  during our family's sad loss.   It has meant such a great deal to know you were there for me.

Take a Word #10 - Zetti

To those who are not familiar with the Zetti style may I say that it is rare for any two people to agree on a definition.  Think whimsical, think maybe a stripey leg, wings or a pointed hat.  Just have fun with it!!

Sad News

We're sorry to report that Ann's mother is gravely ill and the family has been told the end is near.  As we come together with our families for our holiday,  I'm sure we will all send prayers and thoughts to Ann's family in their sad time.   We know you will understand her absence for a time.   Thank you all for your kind support.

Ann is also known as Taluula and is, of course, one of the Three Muses and also a great supporter of Take a Word.
