Take a Word Challenge - Music

This week we have a very elegant and sophisticated sample to inspire us.  Thankyou Gayle!!  For some reason it makes me want to hum the old Eartha Kitt song, "I'm just an old-fashioned girl".

As you know, our theme is MUSIC which can be approached from many different directions.  The main thing is to have fun.

This week our theme word is INSECTS and this most beautiful artpiece featuring dragonflies comes from Rein whose stamping and tinting talents are superb.  Thankyou, Rein.  I'm sure you all will be inspired to create something unique and wonderful!!

Take a Word - Sewing

This week our theme is SEWING.  I have created some (digital) patchwork and stitching and dressed a dressmaker's dummy but you can take "sewing" anywhere you want it to go.  Have fun!!

Take a Word - Weddings

This week our theme is "WEDDINGS" and these three lovely samples come from Yvonne.  A big thankyou, Yvonne.  You sent me three to choose from but I couldn't make a decision so decided to post them all - all the more inspiration for our fellow Take-a-Wordsters.  Have fun with weddings.  I believe June is a big month for them in the northern hemisphere.

An update on Ann (our Taluula).

Ann sends good news that the very serious illness of her husband has improved and, although he is facing a long road to recovery, he's now at home and that's all that matters.  We send our love and prayers to you Ann and Trevor. All your Blog and Flickr friends are thinking of you.
