NOTE TO OUR LOYAL ARTISTS It is with sadness we have decided to close the Take-a-Word challenge. Since Marie's passing nine months ago, we have continued to administer the three challenges (Take-a-Word, Three Muses, and Digitalmania), but we have a need to lessen the load a bit. We ask that our loyal followers here at Take-a-Word continue to share your talents at Three Muses or Digitalmania (which is a Flickr site). We are immensely grateful for your participation for the past ten years or so, and hope to see you there. The bee challenge will be the final challenge for Take-a-Word. Ann and Bev

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL

My lovely blogland friends may I say how touched and humbled I have been over the past couple of weeks by the many prayers, kind words and good wishes you have sent my way  during our family's sad loss.   It has meant such a great deal to know you were there for me.

A great big thank you to you all AND to Marie for keeping you updated on my behalf.

    Dear Ann-
    I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know only too well what a difficult time this can be for a daughter, and for the whole family. I wish you the comfort of friends and family, and the strength and patience to get through this time.
