NOTE TO OUR LOYAL ARTISTS It is with sadness we have decided to close the Take-a-Word challenge. Since Marie's passing nine months ago, we have continued to administer the three challenges (Take-a-Word, Three Muses, and Digitalmania), but we have a need to lessen the load a bit. We ask that our loyal followers here at Take-a-Word continue to share your talents at Three Muses or Digitalmania (which is a Flickr site). We are immensely grateful for your participation for the past ten years or so, and hope to see you there. The bee challenge will be the final challenge for Take-a-Word. Ann and Bev

Take a Word - Weddings


This week our theme is "WEDDINGS" and these three lovely samples come from Yvonne.  A big thankyou, Yvonne.  You sent me three to choose from but I couldn't make a decision so decided to post them all - all the more inspiration for our fellow Take-a-Wordsters.  Have fun with weddings.  I believe June is a big month for them in the northern hemisphere.

    Having just found your site, this is my first entry here. It's on my blog and the poem is written in Spanish because my inspiration came from an old framed photo/picture on a wall of a wedding couple in South America where I was visiting. So many ideas come to mind!!! Thank you for offering this web-site.
